Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of FreshBill.app, operated by CREO Ljos ehf (an Iceland-registered company) under muto development.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FreshBill.app's website and SaaS products, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This agreement is between you and CREO Ljos ehf. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use our services.

2. SaaS Service Terms

FreshBill.app operates on a subscription basis with straightforward per-plan pricing and no forced bundling or artificial limitations. We believe in fair value exchange where customers pay for actual value received.

3. Pricing, Billing and Paddle

We follow a customer-first pricing philosophy with transparent costs. You can view our current pricing on our website. You may scale up or down based on your actual needs.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. All payments, invoicing, sales tax, and VAT are managed by Paddle on our behalf.

When you purchase a subscription, your contract for payment is with Paddle.com Market Limited, not directly with CREO Ljos ehf. You are bound by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy in addition to these Terms of Service.

4. Subscriptions and Cancellation

FreshBill.app offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, you must contact Paddle at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period, and your cancellation will take effect at the next payment date. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period. You can manage your subscription through Paddle's customer portal. For details on refund eligibility, see our Refund Policy.

Consumer right to cancel: If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your initial subscription within 14 days of the transaction date without giving any reason. This right to cancel applies only to the initial subscription and not to subsequent automatic renewals. To exercise this right, contact Paddle directly. If you cancel within this period, Paddle will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision to cancel.

Your right to cancel does not apply to digital content that you have already started to download, stream, or otherwise access.

5. Service Availability

Our services are provided "as is" with a focus on reliability and performance over rapid feature releases. While we strive for maximum uptime, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access at all times. We will notify users in advance of any planned maintenance.

6. Data and Privacy

Your data belongs to you. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, and we do not sell, trade, or exploit your data for profit. For full details on how we handle your data, please refer to our Privacy Notice.

7. Customer Support

We approach customer support as a partnership rather than a vendor relationship. We aim to respond to all support inquiries within 2 business days and work with you to resolve any issues.

8. No Vendor Lock-in

You may export your data and scale down or cancel your subscription at any time without hidden fees or penalties. We believe in earning your business through quality of service, not contractual obligations.

9. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes via email or through our service. Continued use of FreshBill.app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is capped at the amount you've paid for our services in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. We believe in open communication and fair resolution of disputes. If any issues arise, we encourage you to contact us directly before pursuing formal legal action.

Nothing in these Terms of Service affects any mandatory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived or limited by contract.

12. Company Information

FreshBill.app is a product of muto development, operated under CREO Ljos ehf, an Iceland-registered company committed to building transparent, customer-focused software.
