Refund Policy

At FreshBill.app (operated by CREO Ljos ehf under muto development), we believe in fair value in every exchange. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, who is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles returns and refunds on our behalf.

1. SaaS Subscription Refunds

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: New customers receive a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you're unsatisfied within your first 30 days, contact Paddle for a full refund — no questions asked.

Existing Customers: After the 30-day guarantee period, refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by Paddle at their discretion.

No Partial-Period Refunds: If you cancel your subscription mid-billing period, no refund is issued for the unused portion. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

60-Day Cutoff: Refund requests made more than 60 days after the original transaction date will not be processed.

2. Consumer Right to Cancel

If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your initial subscription within 14 days of the transaction date without giving any reason. This right to cancel applies only to the initial subscription and not to subsequent automatic renewals.

If you cancel within this 14-day period, Paddle will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after being informed of your decision to cancel.

Your right to cancel does not apply to digital content that you have already started to download, stream, or otherwise access, or to products of which you have already had the benefit. This does not affect your statutory rights in relation to products which are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.

3. When Refunds Are Available

Refunds are available in the following situations:

  • Service performance doesn't match our advertising claims
  • Technical problems prevent you from accessing the service
  • The service fails to align with your business needs (within reasonable scope)
  • Billing mistakes or duplicate charges
  • Cancellation within the 30-day guarantee window

4. When Refunds May Not Be Available

Refunds may not be granted in these cases:

  • Violations of our Terms of Service
  • Fraudulent behavior or misuse of the service
  • Extensive usage well past the guarantee period
  • Business shutdowns or changing circumstances unrelated to our service

5. Requesting a Refund

Since Paddle is the Merchant of Record, all refund requests should be directed to Paddle. You can contact Paddle through their customer support portal. You may also contact us at support@freshbill.app and we will assist in coordinating with Paddle on your behalf.

We aim to respond to all refund-related inquiries within 2 business days.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle. Depending on your payment method, the refund may take up to 14 days to appear in your account.

7. Paddle's Terms

Refunds are subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy. Paddle may refuse a refund request if they find evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights in relation to products which are not as described, faulty, or not fit for purpose.
